Let's take a drive.

前回「FONのDD-WRT化(準備)。」でFONにDD-WRTを導入する準備を行ったので、今回は実際にFONをDD-WRT化する。

作業を進めるためにはあらかじめDD-WRTをダウンロードする必要がある。
※ 2008/05/12現在、最新のDD-WRTはRC7で、必要なファイルは「linux.bin」
また、FONルータにDD-WRTを転送するためには、TFTPサーバを起動する必要がある。
※ TFTPサーバはVectorなどから無料でダウンロードすることができる

まず、クライアントPCのネットワーク設定を下記のように変更する。
IPアドレス: 192.168.1.1～253
サブネットマスク: 255.255.255.0
ゲートウェイ,DNS: 任意

PCの設定が完了したら、あらかじめコマンドプロンプトかtelnetクライアントを用意し、FONルータの電源を入れ、FONのファームウェアが起動するまでの間の数秒間の間にtelnetで192.168.1.254の9000番ポートにアクセスする。
成功すると、^Cを押すとファームの読み込みを中止するといった旨のメッセージが表示されるので、CTRL+Cを押し、ファームの読み込みを停止する。
※ すぐにCTRL+Cしないとファームが起動してしまい、コマンドを受け付けない状態になるので注意。

あらかじめダウンロードしたlinux.binをTFTPサーバのドキュメントルートに置き、TFTPサーバを起動、FONのRedBootのプロンプトにてTFTPを設定、転送、導入を行う。
